I AM THE BETTER BODIES LIFESTYLE.
At a young age, I experienced the death of someone I thought I’d marry. Without his existence I never would have learned what passion and hard work are. He taught me the beauty and art of bodybuilding. Bodybuilding has changed my life in so many ways because of him. When he passed away, training in the gym was the only thing I had left to be at peace or to feel like he was still with me. Bodybuilding gave me the consistency I needed to keep myself alive and focused. Because whether we like to admit it or not, our bodies are the only thing in this life that KEEP US GOING! So why not take care of it! Trying to get through school was tough, but you keep going. You have too. Life has to go on.
During that time, I took many steps back from competing but four years later I gained the courage to get back into those posing heels and I earned my IFBB Pro Card.
I learned- you can’t control life, but you can control your actions. When life doesn’t go the way you thought it would… what are you left to do? Give up? Or work harder? Without this angel looking down on me and without bodybuilding I couldn’t be the mentally strong, consistent person I am today. I wouldn’t be this goal driven. Because I know life can happen and change in a blink of an eye, I won’t waste time being unmotivated. I choose to live my best life in my best body. Deion Sanders once said, “If you look good, you feed good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.”
WHY NOT put as much effort into everything else in your life? Because it’s hard? Yeah… but that’s what will make you GREAT! I am a firm believer in hard work and discipline. If you can talk the talk, you better walk the walk. This is what Better Bodies represents to me.
I’m competitive and I love promoting and staying true to this lifestyle. When I train, I’m in my feelings and emotions. Sometimes I cry. But it’s only because I know I want to be successful at what I put my time and energy into. I’m hardcore sometimes. But it’s only because I want people to pick up on how passionate I am. I represent a humble approach to getting what you want in life by your own hard work and believing in yourself! Be competitive towards life! Train for life!! Not just a season. Promote what you truly love!
