Video: Kinesthetics Body Weight Training - Episode 2 with George Dawson

Destination trainer George Dawson combines upper body and lower body exercises for a comprehensive full-body workout that is perfect for when you're on the road, short on time or when gyms might not be accessible.

As mentioned in Episode 1, kinesthetics is using your bodyweight instead of weights to exercise. Some of the advantages of kinesthetic exercises are being able to move in multiple planes of motion making your workouts more dynamic and using essentially your whole body at once. Episode 2 FULL WORKOUT:

Lower Body

  1. Single leg slide outs: 3 sets x 10 reps each leg

  2. Back lunge slide outs: 3 sets x 10 reps each leg

  3. Side step-ups: 3 sets x 10 reps each leg

Upper Body

  1. Walking incline push-ups: 3 sets x 10 reps

  2. Walking elevated push-ups: 3 sets x 10 reps

  3. Shoulder step-ups with superman raises: 3 sets x 10 reps
