Some of the most inspiring physical transformations have come out of New Year’s resolutions. We're closing out the first quarter of the year, and now we're here to check in on your resolutions. Whether you've fallen off, or stayed on track, reaching your next goal is going to take more hard work, dedication, and a fair amount of sweat to further improve and become the best version of yourself. It will be worth it.

That being said, there will be ups and downs. Listen, that’s normal. We’re human, not perfect. To help keep you going when you’re feeling stuck in a rut, we've made a list of workout motivation tips. Read on for some inspiration on how to kick ass and work hard all year long.

Whatever your goal might be, write it down -  look at it every morning and throughout the day when you need to find your motivation. Let it fuel you to make it to the gym when you're tired, or when you're tempted to veer off your diet plan.

Whether your goal is to gain strength, lose weight, prepare for a competition, or simply be more active - if you’re in the gym, you’ve got a goal. Taking a few minutes to sit down and create a list of 

 you want to reach this goal is crucial. Get specific!

Rome wasn’t built in a day. Your ideal body won’t be, either. It’s going to take time to reach your goals. A great way to do that and maintain motivation is to break your long-term goal down into smaller, more achievable goals. Focusing on accomplishing these short-term goals will keep you on track toward reaching your long-term, ultimate goal.

It’s good to start small in order to make your new habits stick. If you immediately jump into eating super clean, fatiguing yourself in the gym for 2 hours every day, and quitting all of your bad habits 

, you run the risk of getting burnt out. When you burnout it's a big time progress killer. Thus, make small changes and keep up with them consistently help in adopting an improved lifestyle. When it comes to getting healthy, slow and steady wins the race.

If your obstacle is committing to working out, make a pact with yourself,  at the same time every single day you'll do something active. Whether that’s to go to the gym, take a walk, or stretch.

Even on your rest days, you should make an effort to include low-intensity activities  like a walk or light yoga. This is called active recovery. You’re still moving, but you’re not pushing yourself to your limits. Active recovery can aid in building the habit of  physical activity everyday.

It happens to the best of us. You’re keeping up with your diet and exercise, things are going well- and then all of a sudden they’re not. You’re not losing weight, gaining muscle or getting stronger. You feel stuck. What’s happening? You’re plateauing.

When you hit a plateau, your body is telling you that you need to switch it up. Whether that’s cutting or adding extra calories, trying a new routine at the gym, reducing or increasing training intensity, or exploring a different tactic like intermittent fasting or carb loading. You’ve got to introduce another element to your routine. It doesn’t have to be a big change, but it’s got to be something. Source out a trusted registered dietitian, when considering a new diet.

Everyone need a little positive reinforcement on occasion, and it's okay to reach out when you're having a difficult time staying on track. People want you to succeed (and if they don’t, it’s time to seriously reconsider your relationship with them). Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable and admit you need some encouragement. You can find an online community to support you, your friends, significant other, family, etc.,- reaching for support could be the factor that helps you reach your goal(s).

You’re not going to get anywhere tearing yourself down for not living up to expectations of perfection. It’s not about perfection- it’s about consistency. There will be times you make less than healthy choices. That’s okay! 

 Pick yourself back up. Keep making healthier choices. Recognize that you slipped and why, pick back up and move forward.

Be the Change You Wish to See in Yourself

Have you ever felt like a a champ? Big, strong unstoppable... Better Bodies ambassador Hans Synnestvedt Jensen has, until May 2018 when he collapsed and was taken to the hospital. Read the story of how Hans had to fight a big tumor and all the things that came with it.

In May 2018 I felt some pain in my back. I thought I had pulled some muscles so I rested and didn’t think more about it. Not until I collapsed in my office and was in so much pain that I can’t even describe it! The panic and “OMFG” what is going on. I managed to text a friend and he drove me to the hospital.

After a long day and night at the hospital, they said it was just an inflamed lunge with some fluid in it and that I should rest for a month. I asked them why I was in so much pain and if they were 100 percent sure that it wasn’t anything else. They couldn't answer that, but told me not to worry.

I rested and started to slowly work out again. But something was wrong. I could feel it, and I had for some time. But I am a hard worker so I just did my thing and moved on with it. Eventually it started to hurt when I was breathing, I was so tired at that point and everything I did was so exhausting that I had to sleep all the time. Every workout was a struggle and I finally went to the doctor.

The doctor looked at me and just said “You have asthma.” My answer was “Are you sure? I don’t think this is asthma.” But they gave me some inhalers and that was that. The inhalers didn’t work so I demanded an x-ray.

A week or so later the doctor called and told me “We have found a black spot in your lunge.” and that they had missed it the first time in May (it’s now September). That call was so weird and disgusting. I was just exploding on the inside and didn’t know what to say or do. So I just went on with my day, trained my clients, and went back home and told my girlfriend what was up.  My mind was racing in panic and so many questions were running through my head.

After 5-6 weeks the doctor finally admitted she didn’t know what it was and she couldn’t figure it out so she sent me further to specialists. They started to do all kinds of tests to figure it out.

From October 2018 until January 2019 I didn’t know if I was going to die or live. I tried to live as if everything was normal, but it was far from normal. I was working out and my body just wouldn’t do what I wanted it to.

I trained for my life at that time and I didn’t know when or if it would be the last time. All the frustration, anger and sadness just built up and I had to get it out. The gym was my savior, even if I couldn’t do what I wanted to it helped keep me sane.

At that point I didn’t know if it would be my last birthday, Christmas or anything. Every day on my way to work I would snap and scream my lunges out.

Finally in January 2019 they told me that I was scheduled for surgery to remove a big tumor sitting on my spine. It was pressing on my left lunge.

Early February I went under the knife and they removed the tumor. It was 5x5 cm and the surgery went well. After a week at the hospital I got to go home.

During recovery I just "disappeared" and got more and more tired. I wanted to get back in the gym so bad that after 4 weeks I was back trying to do some rehab training and light cardio. But I wasn’t feeling the way I should.

After all the swelling had gone away from surgery I could see that when I put pressure on my torso, a big bulge would appear on the left side of my rib-cage.

I tried to ignore it and just hoped it would go away and I would get better. But it just got worse. I was constantly in pain and couldn’t do anything. Just cleaning my plate after dinner felt like a workout.

I went back to my doctor and got a checkup 7 weeks after surgery. He looked in my files and examined me. The first thing he said was “Did they remove a rib?” I said "no" and his face revealed that he was clearly a bit confused. He asked me to wait in his office while he'd check something. When he came back he told me he thought that it was my lunge pointing out in between my ribs and he booked an appointment for me at the hospital where I had had the surgery.

A few days later my girlfriend and I drove up there and I met with the doctor who performed the surgery on me. He looked at the big scar, felt it and said: "You will not go home today. I am scheduling you for urgent surgery tomorrow."

It turned out that under the scar the muscles had ripped the stitches and I had a big bad lunge hernia. That night so may thoughts ran through my head again. Going thru all the shit one more time. Not being able to walk or do anything by myself... I don’t think I can explain how it happened but I decided that it would not break me!

When I started to wake up I was in the worst pain in my life. On a scale from 1-10 it was 100+. It turned out that they didn’t think it would be as big of a surgery as it was so they hadn't given me all the drugs and an epidural (spinal anesthesia) like they otherwise do. They told me they would give me whatever drugs I needed after to ease the pain.

After many hours I finally got spinal anesthesia and it felt a bit better. The doctor then came and told me that not only did I have a lunge hernia but I had 1 liter of water in my lunge bag. He could not understand that I had been able to stand up or do anything. He told me I could have died from it at any time and if it the lunge bag had busted I would have drowned.

I started thinking about how much I was able to take and still stand. But what is the price? Sometimes being strong and hard working isn't the best thing when you almost kill yourself from it.

I stayed at the hospital post-surgery for almost 2 weeks to make sure that I was OK. And during this time I just tried to stay motivated, to not quit and to not give up. I got a Netflix account and watched the documentary about Ronnie Coleman and all the things he has been going through. I told myself that if he can - so can I! So, thank you Ronnie for not quitting and giving others inspiration.

When I came home I wasn’t allowed to do anything for months since my body needed to heal and recover. During that time from late March 2019 to late May I saw my body just disappear to nothing. Even though I was happy I didn’t have the tumor and that part was over, another battle started.

This time it was the identity battle of: "Who am if I'm not the big strong bodybuilder with muscles?" What happens when the person you identify with is gone and instead a crippled and lesser version of him appears in the mirror? Handling that is something no one can prepare you for.

When something you have worked so hard and long for can disappear that easy and fast, it is really hard to stay motivated and inspired to keep going. It went so far for me that I felt like lifting didn’t matter anymore and thought maybe I should do some ting else instead.

I lost who I was and why I was doing the things I did. And when I finally was allowed back in the gym it just hit me how far away I was from where I had been. The past year was nothing but a fight against my own body. The past 5 months I hadn’t had a workout at all.

I decided to dig deep to find the reason to why I started lifting and why it was important to me. I told myself that "I will come back and I will be bigger and better than anyone can ever dare to dream of after this".

With that, I set up some crazy goals to compete again and to get back up on that stage not only to prove to others that anything I possible but to show to myself that I don’t quit and that I can do what I set my mind to. And this is where I am right now - in the process of rebuilding myself and figuring out who I am and what can I do in this world.

The gym is my therapy and without it I don’t know where I would be.

Living the fitness lifestyle can mean a wide diversity in what and how to exercise. Different passions, different goals - but with the same dedication for training and living an active and healthy lifestyle!

Something that often is a common denominator in above is gym training. This serves as an important foundation to succeed in different kinds of sports.

During the upcoming months we will publish a series with several different Better Bodies ambassadors who are passionate and active in different kinds of sports but have one thing in common; the gym as the foundation. Whether the main purpose is to build strength, stability, becoming more explosive, loosing weight or gaining weight they all go to the gym to achieve it.

Here we meet Better Bodies ambassador Julia Gylbert. A 19 year old Swedish girl that has a great future ahead of her as a jockey.

Julia shares her story and dreams and why the gym training is so important for her to be able to succeed in her sport!

When I first started to ride thoroughbreds (racing horses) it was scary because they are very strong and powerful horses. I knew how to ride because I started to ride when I was 4 years old, but these thoroughbreds were on a whole other level. So I had to learn everything all over again because everything was different.

It is almost 4 years since I started as a work rider. I did not compete in the races because for that you need a license, and that license is not easy to get. I had to overcome my fear that everybody else was better at this sport than me, and decide that I could do anything that they could do. And that is why why I decided to go after the amateur jockey license. I wanted to show everyone that I could do it to! And I did!

Today I have an amateur jockey license, and everyone’s got my back; jockeys, trainers and my fellow amateur jockeys, they are the ones I compete against. There are 3 different kind of jockeys, for starters you become a amateur, after that you can decide if you just want to stay an amateur and ride races for fun or if you want to make a career out of it. And if you decide to do that, the first thing you have to do is to become an apprentice in a professional trainers stable. And after you have WON 70 races you then become a professional jockey, and that is when you start to make money on the races.

What I have learned from this sport is that you can do anything if you just put your mind to it. Never give up and believe in yourself. In the beginning I didn’t, but I surrounded myself with people that wanted me to succeed and gave me boosts when I needed them. It took a while for me to understand that if they can do it so can I. But now, I know.

Of course there are times when I compare myself with other riders but I then remind myself that; Sure, maybe they know better and maybe they are better riders. But they started somewhere too, and that is what makes me keep going. I want to be that one, the one who makes other people want to do better. Because that is what has helped me through this.

Because of the training we are being put through every time we get on the back of these horses, we get an amazing balance. We stand in 90 degrees on a horse in full speed, and at the same time we have to have control over the horse because it shouldn’t always go at the fastest pace, which is about 65km/h.

These horses are very very strong, so you have to have amazing core strength and at the same time have the strength in your arms and back to be able to stay in that position. It takes a whole lot of time and effort to make it in this sport, but it’s all worth it.

Because of the time you as a rider have to put down to become a good rider and jockey, you don’t have that much time to spend with family and friends, It’s early mornings, we start the day in the stable at 6 am, and we are done around 1 pm or so. After that you'll need all the sleep you can get. But if you love the sport, and always are ready to give a 110% (and you have to if you want to get anywhere in this sport). Nothing else really matter, it really doesn’t because you are already doing what you love. The early mornings and sometimes bad weather will not bring you down, nothing will. And most of all, your love for the horses, everything you do is for them really.

I am now leaving my comfort zone here in Sweden, and will be traveling to England for the first time in my life, on my own to go and meet a professional trainer in Newmarket to ride with and learn from them. My goal is to get a full time job as a work rider. It’s a dream and now it can finally come true. But It hadn’t been possible if I hadn’t taken my license and started to ride for a Swedish trainer at Bro park Galoppbana to get more hours in the saddle and on the racetrack. My self confidence has grown so strong, that nothing can stop me now.

When I work out in the gym I have to be careful, because I cannot have to big muscles in my sport, because that will not be in my favor on the race track. The lesser the weight the better. But at the same time I have to have strength in my legs, core, arms and back. So basically my entire body has to be in amazing shape, but not to big. I also need to have a really good physics.

So many of my workouts require mostly my own body weight, so I often do something like this:

Plank (with one arm and one leg out, so I stand on my right foot and left arm and the other two are straightened out) 1 minute per side

Side crunches with straight legs 2 minutes 

90 degrees (stand on something so you can get up from the ground, just stand on your toes and stay there ) 2 minutes

Intervals with 5 push-ups in between every interval

I always warm up with a run, 3-5 km to get warmed up. I work out 4-5 times a week in the gym or at home because my workouts are done just as easily at home. When I’m not working out I’m in the stables or working since my job isn’t actually horse racing (yet).

There is not a time when I’m not working out because I’m almost always in the stables, but I guess the few times you don’t find me there you can find me with my friends or family, probably drinking coffee.

When I’m in the stables I ride from 4-6 horses every time so just the riding kind of covers every workout. All of my muscles are constantly put to the test, even though I am fit and used to this type of training.

Besides the riding we muck out all the stalls and other stuff so my body is really tired when I'm done for the day.

When I’m riding a race it’s even harder. In a race you have your stirrups even shorter than in training and the adrenaline makes you take out every bit of power in you, but that’s not always a good thing in this sport.

One month ago, I went out in my second race ever. It was 28 degrees Celsius and it was a race on 2350 meters. After the finish line I fainted and fell of the horse, and at that speed I could really have hurt myself. But luckily I was unharmed, I didn’t get any big injuries but I was bruised big time.

I went to the emergency and got morphine and had to stay home from work for a week because I was in so much pain. At the end of that week I was up in the saddle again and out in my third race and finished second. So I just had to, literally get back up in the saddle again. I was nervous but it was all worth it.

All of my friends and family thought I was crazy to even think about getting back up on the saddle that fast, but I didn’t care because this is what I live for, and will never stop doing. Ever.

Purpose Driven Training: Julia Gylbert

 from Sweden, a very active woman with a long journey in fitness. She has ADHD, Asbergers, is extremely gifted, and has found ways to use her diagnoses to her benefit.

I am a very active woman who is always doing something. I am a “Now” person and I try to see solutions for everything. My motto is in Swedish: 

“Det är inte hur du har det utan hur du tar det.”

 I’m from Strömsholm, a little village I live in now as well. I grew up here, in this idyllic place in a big villa and when young my hobbies were horses and outdoor activites. I have always liked to spend time outside and I love all kinds of animals.

I am a very red person in personality, I have heck of a temper, but it goes away quickly. I overanalyze but I also over love. I love helping others with difficulties and I really promote equal value. Why be normal when you can be you? We are all unique.

I have always worked better with male friends than females. I guess it is both due to my diagnosis; I am a very straight forward honest person. I am also hyperactive. Men are easier to socialize with as they more often speak the truth straight up to your face. I like that. Women can confuse me and very often they don't like me. I am not so good at pretending and I don´t like small talk. So many women either think I look ugly with all my muscles, or they are intimidated by me, or they are jealous for not having the character to do something all the way themselves. I have 6 good girl friends; the rest are men. My interests have always been training at the gym, I went to the army and I love driving motorcycles. All those hobbies are mainly man dominant.

When young I drove a Ducati Monster and raced a lot. Nowadays I have my darling: She´s called Black Widow and is a Harley Davidson, Dyna Super Glide of 1585 CC. A powerful machine. My friends always say my frank way of being, together with my craziness and hyperactivity reminds them of Harley Quinn. So now two Marvel characters merge together when I ride. I also love Super Man and that logo is sort of my thing.

My friends describe me as a very open, crazy person that does everything I want to with out thinking of the consequences. I am considered as tough independent person I think but I am also very sensitive. My doctor is stunned over that fact that I have such a high IQ but also high EQ. This is not very common apparently and is probably one of the reason I am the weird lovable crazy empathic, deep, overanalyzing hyper person I am.

If you want to know what my friends think about me one person that knows me very well is Carina Isaksson. We have been close friends for 30 years now and I know she loves me deep inside, but she can also get very tired of me. She always calls me her little Einstein and says that she can´t understand 

“how a person who is so smart can lack so much common sense”

I grew up in Strömsholm with my parents and four siblings. My mother was always ill and died when I was 15 years old. I have lived in both Wales, first when studying at Upper Secondary School. Then I lived with a family there for a couple of years. This was a year after my mum had died and my dad figured I needed to go away and do something for me.

I had spent a few summers in Bude; Cornwall already and then I moved to Wales. I loved it there so when studying English at University I managed to be allowed to study on distance so I lived in Swansea, Wales for a few years studying day time and working as a bartender at the biggest night club Ritzys night time. After that I moved to Sevilla to study Spanish for a few years at University level. Then I studied to become a high school teacher at Uppsala University.

Later in life, while being home with the kids I studied so I also have a degree as a teacher for children/youth with special needs. My special focus is neuropsychiatric disabilities. At my job now I also work as a “Förste lärare” in specialpedagogik.

I Love my job and I feel appreciated among the young adults and my colleagues. As I have children with special needs and also have two diagnoses myself, I feel I can use my academic training together with my personal experience in a good way.

I have ADHD myself and Asperger’s and I am gifted as they call it as I am a member of Mensa with an IQ of 149.

I worked as a Spanish and English teacher at High School level for 20 years but then I decided I wanted to focus on young adults with special needs. So now I work full time as a teacher for children with special needs, or gifts, as I prefer to see it. If the environment is adaptable

someone with ADHD; ADD or Autism can function extremely well. It is not a coincidence that most of the people that have done remarkable things have a diagnosis. Also, many actors, singers or other people in professions that demand a lot of focus and/or energy have a combination of letters. In history we have many inventors, painters, authors and athletes that have diagnoses. Albert Einstein, Salvador Dali, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Michael Jordan, Emely Dickenson, Edgar Allan Poe, Virginia Wolf, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, to mention some.

I am single now. It is not something I have chosen deliberately. I never feel lonely as I have so many friends around me whenever I want to. But I am sincerely starting to wonder if there is someone out there that can accept all of me and love me unconditionally. Time will tell, I guess.

I live with four kids. I have three biological children who live full time with me and always have since I divorced their father in 2012. They are: Tindra 17 years. She studies to become

a doctor like grandpa (my dad). Ängla is soon 16 years old and is in year 9. Neo is 13 years old and is in year 8. I also have a bonus/foster son living with me, Jason who is 16 years old and is at first year in Upper Secondary School. All my four children have different letter combinations. They are all awesome kids and I love them, and I am so proud of all of them.

In the family we also have two dogs, one snake and soon two rats. We are picking up our baby rats in a few weeks Now the snake is on the run, lost somewhere in our house, but that´s another story.

I started training at the gym when I was 20 years old. I had a lot of pain in my neck and my dad who is a doctor said I should strengthen my body and muscles. So that was my way in. And as always when I do something I do it 110%. And that lead to good results.

For me, with my Asperger and ADHD, gym training is perfect. I want to train when I want to train, and I usually train alone. Nowadays I have two good friends I alter between and train with every now and then, two guys. But I mainly train alone and that´s the way I want it. Gym

training is a great way to get to know your body and a great sport as you can really push yourself to the limit and achieve miracles. If you succeed or not is all up to you and I like that. I like to have food schedules and fixed times to eat and knowing what to eat. I also like to train extremely early in the morning and with gym training that is possible. I love morning walks out in the nature as a combo to my weight training.

My ADHD needs me moving for my brain and soul to be in harmony and my Asperger helps me keep order in what I eat, when I eat and when I train. Making lists on what to do, rigid planning and schedules are things I love and need.  When training and dieting on high level you really get close to the ones in the same position. It is not possible for anyone who has not competed at elite level to know the amount of work and character needed. So you get close to the ones in the same position. Carina and I got to know each other that way and have been friends ever since. I am also close to Semiran Dag, Anette Fabretto and others who

have competed and lived that kind of life.

When I got divorced and ended up with three young kids full time on my own, I got depressed. Two of them were also at the moment being tested for diagnoses and my middle daughter is extremely allergic. There were a few very tough years when I had to go to the hospital once a week with my daughter for allergy shots, and at the same time work full time to afford to keep the house, also of course taking care of all three kids and helping them

to manage school and be able to have their own sports and other hobbies after school took up all my time and energy. I simply did not have enough hours a day and my own training was what had to go for a while.

As I do everything 110% the consequence of not training so much led to my stop eating healthy as well. And the tablets I had for my depression also led to putting on weight. I also struggle with some other severe health issues (which I prefer not talking about as I don't want people to feel sorry for me. I try to keep a positive mindset). It was a combo of all that. There was simply too much and I put on weight as my body was used to rigid training and healthy food.

My goals right now are to manage to get minimum of 5 gym workouts a week. I need that for both body and soul. The gym and my walks outdoors are my ways of relaxing, reloading and pulling myself together so I can be a good mother, a good friend and a good colleague.

I love my work; it is so rewarding to help others and I feel I matter. But to be able to be indoors all day I need my hour in the gym, and a few walks a week outdoors as well.

I love spending time with my kids. I also love the sun and outdoor activities in the warm seasons. I need sunlight so I do not like the winter and from now in October to end of February are tough months for me.

We have a pool at home and the only time I can be still for a while is when I am out in the sun by the pool or by the sea. The water calms me. I ride my Harley Davidson and as soon as the weather is nice, I want to go on road trips. The freedom feeling you feel when riding a motorbike is thrilling.

I like to take photos, so I have tons of them. They are good for me because with my sensitiveness to a lot of noise or movement makes me not being able to enjoy everything 100 %. But when I take photos, I can relive moments at home when it is quiet.

I am extremely academic, and I just love English and Swedish grammar, I know that is a very odd interest. I also love words and see myself as a word collector. Poetry and Shakespeare is my type of literature. The best book I have ever read is: Cien anos de soledad de García Marquez. Of course, I read it in Spanish first. (Hundra år av ensamhet). I also love going to the movies. Action movies and Marvel movies are my type.

I have through the years learned how to adapt to others. But also to stand strong and dare to be different. I have raised my children to understand that normal is not something to strive for.

What matters is that you are an open-minded generous and kind person. I think my job is the perfect place for me to be. Here I can help others to see their self-worth. I take medicine for my ADHD I make my lists to feel safe. Things do not need to turn out exactly as planned but to have a list is a way of feeling calm. At work I am a very organized person who knows exactly what to do and when. I am always in time and always come well prepared. I leave nothing to coincidence. But then at home when I relax, and the medicine wears off, I am different. Crazier, I always misplace my keys etc. But that is ok. And I think it is good for my

children to see that we do not need to be perfect all the time to be good.

 in a fitness/bodybuilding division, make sure you do it for the right reasons. It´s a sport of judgement and the rules are not that clear. It is after all also a matter of taste etc. Compete because you want to see how far you can go and always compete first and foremost to improve yourself. Also make sure you have trained enough beforehand. It takes time to build muscles, more time than most people realize. You'll have to follow rigid routines and allow no slack. If you contact a coach for help, make sure it is someone you trust and that you only listen to that person. Stick to what that one person says so make sure it is someone you level with.

, remember that it is all about what goes in and comes out. 80% of the results come from how you eat. And make sure you eat enough protein to keep the muscles. Do not eat too much and do not eat too little. You can never reward yourself with food after training. You train to get healthy and look good when you have lost weight, but you eat to lose weight. Also, muscles burn fat so to build muscles are good for that too. Make

sure you have a plan how to train and eat that you can live by to have long lasting results. You must find food that is good for you that you like and will continue to eat, and you must find some way of movement to train your heart. Your training must be something you want to do otherwise you will give up. Don’t´look at the scale. Take your measurements as that tells you so much more.

, know that you are unique and just as much worth as everybody else. Sometimes you just need the environment to adjust to you a bit more than others. Find a good doctor that can help you to get to know yourself. Most important of all: Be proud to be you. <3

Up Close And Personal With Petra Törnros 

Brett Wilkin is back at Destination. This time with wife Ivana. They touchdown a week before thanksgiving and receive a warm reception from Destination GM Johanna Evertson and global project manager Hanne Gaines.

Brett is pushing the scales at 270lbs now but both Ivana and Brett are well in the "unrestrictive" off season.

"Its important to have that balance and to wake up without worrying constantly to have to pack so many meals and eating on the hour whenever you need to eat." Ivana speaking on the rigidity of contest prep.

Brett and Ivana are visiting right before our Iron World Tour and Olympia pre party. The Iron World Tour has been to UK, China, Denmark, Sweden, New York, Denver and now we are taking the whole Texas team along with some GASP and Better Bodies athletes and ambassadors along with 13 athletes competing in the 2020 Olympia to Orlando Florida. So along with attending product meetings and recording training and lifestyle content, brett and Ivana will get to be a part of this week and weekend's events.
