Use Your Fear - Pro MMA Fighter John Tao

"Fear is such an important emotion. I love fear."

John Tao is a pro MMA fighter who is 2-0 and has 30 amateur fights under his belt. He grew up in Garland, Texas and once he saw his first MMA fight he was hooked and began training.

As with all other athletes, nutrition and training are key components to success.

"I like to stick to alkaline foods and consume carbs around my workout."

Along with the strategy around nutrition and training John emphasizes mental health and training.

"Fear can produce pressure, but if you let fear get to you, it can render you immobile. You wont be able to move. Fear can also put you under pressure. Some of the most amazing individuals perform well under pressure. I am ready for some pressure."
