I’m now back in Sweden after an eventful work weekend in Las Vegas. Visiting the Olympia is always an highlight as it provides opportunity to catch up with industry friends and ambassadors from around the globe.

If you are planning to go to Las Vegas and to keep up with the Fitness lifestyle and soak up some inspiration, a workout at for example 

There are so many options on hotels in Las Vegas and it can be hard to know where to stay. It very much depends on what is most important for you; To be near the expo? The competitions? Nightlife? To have a kitchen? Having a casino in the hotel?

It is pretty easy to take a cab everywhere so don’t let some distance be an issue since that can save you a lot of money. The 5 star hotels along the Strip are in general much more expensive than hotels that are a few minutes drive from there. The bigger hotels often have a fully equipped gym and be sure to check the hotel websites to see what amenities they offer.

If you are looking for a good hotel with a central location at the strip – but without a casino, 

 could be an option. Here you have the possibility to prepare your own food in the room and even do laundry.

If you want to stay where the Olympia finals are, 

 is the place. Just be aware that this is off the Las Vegas Strip. If you prefer being closer to the 

 where the expo is, you'll want to look at the map and pick a hotel in close proximity.

Jacki Frye went to Olympia with her sponsor Muscle Egg. It is her 3rd time visiting Las Vegas for this show. We asked her about her weekend plans.

I will be at the Olympia Expo both days at the Muscle Egg booth. We'll be training at LVAC and City Athletic Club. We plan to eat at Hell's Kitchen, find the best burger and pizza joint and do a sunset helicopter tour at the Grand Canyon!

This is a fun weekend to be in Vegas because it brings together people who have the same passion for health and fitness. It is the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding! The vibes are amazing and the connections you make are unforgettable.

My Olympia Experience – Jacki Frye

Friday marks the official start day of Olympia in Las Vegas. We are excited to share some updates from both our team and ambassadors.

Let The Show Begin

Ahmad Ahmad is a champion bodybuilder but has always found himself on the lighter side of the 212 division. Last year he threw his hat into the classic physique division and won his classic physique pro debut earning him a spot at the 2019 Mr. Olympia.

Here he is two days out from the Olympia answers some questions regarding his shoulder surgery, making an impact in the Olympia this year and advice to younger aspiring competitors.

During the Mr. Olympia weekend our CEO Michael Johansson along with Better Bodies Brand Manager Erika Bostrom and videographer Nick Del Toro will be catching up with ambassadors and industry friends in Las Vegas. We're excited to share some of their experiences as well as our ambassadors experiences from this weekend with the whole Better Bodies Community!

Our team kicked off this years Olympia by going to the press conference for the Olympian competitors. Nick Del Toro made sure to meet up with Better Bodies Athlete 

 to document Ahmad's final preparations for the Olympia finals in Classic Physique this Saturday.

 is a NQ Bikini Competitor and Fitness Model. She's traveling to Olympia with her Team Allmax family.

Touch Down In Las Vegas

For Nathalia Melo, shoulders help accentuate not only your physique but also a sleeveless dress at a cocktail party or tank top at the beach. 

Here Nathalia Melo walks us through a 45 minute shoulder training session with the 

 that hit every area of the shoulders that will help you develop that round athletic look.

This past weekend we did our first 2 stops on our Swedish Better Bodies on Tour 2019. Keep scrolling for a recap of these awesome events.

Our first stop was at The Raw Gym in Malmö! The energy was high and we had a lot of people who gave their all in our small (but yet challenging) competition. The task was to do 250 meters on a rowing machine and continue with 15 burpees immediately thereafter. The one who completed this fastest was awarded with a gift card from Better Bodies.

Better Bodies Ambassador and Music producer Bo Jonsson added to the Friday feeling as he took control over the music.

Everyone who came to the event received a goodie-bag that contained a Better Bodies shoppingbag, shaker, coupons, as well as items from our event sponsors NOCCO, Barebells and Snackbros. We are so thankful for having these three brands contributing to the goodie bags!

Next day we took the Better Bodies car to Gothenburg and Iron Works Gym! This gym is amazing and the owner Olov gave us a warm welcome. Again we repeated our competition. First out was five amazing Better Bodies ambassadors. They all completed the task with impressive times, one of them even did it all with a broken wrist. Impressive!

To summarize theses two days in one word: AMAZING! We are so thankful that so many came out to contribute with so much great energy and having fun with us. We also want to send a huge thanks to The Raw Gym and Iron Works Gothenburg for having us! And last but not least thanks to NOCCO, Barebells and Snackbros for adding the best protein snacks to our goodie-bags.

We are now reloading for part 2 of this tour. This will be the last weekend of September. Then we will visit Södertälje, Norrköping and Jönköping! Hope to see many of you there!

Chris Miller, Dallas based logistics manager for Better Bodies is preparing for the physique division of Joe Weider's amateur Olympia in Las Vegas.

"Competing is a way to push yourself, find your limitations and surpass them. The dieting is a way to test your will power and hold yourself accountable. The contest is a way to keep to deadlines. There is no pushing deadlines back because your not ready on time."

Chris takes us into his world as the logistics manager of Better Bodies at the Plano headquarters and then takes us through his arm training one week out from Joe Weider's Amateur Olympia.

September Update from Brand Manager Erika Boström – Keep scrolling to read it all!

August started off with a week in Dallas for me working from our office at …Destination, meeting friends and colleagues, and making plans for Better Bodies for the rest of this year.

I also had a chance to visit the new facility for …destination that we will move into in just a few months. This is a really exciting move and I can promise you that the new gym facilities will be something extra. A place to visit, and train at, for everyone who lives the fitness lifestyle. The variety of equipment will offer something for everyone, whether you are into powerlifting, CrossFit or traditional bodybuilding.

**We have our Better Bodies ambassador group on 

 for the entire Better Bodies community.

On daily basis my coworkers and I get so much inspiration from you guys when sharing your stories and happenings in this group. We are also happy to see the welcoming and inclusive attitude, which is a vital part of Better Bodies values. Especially since we opened up the group not only for our ambassadors, but for the entire Better Bodies community

**I invited 16 guys in Sweden with different training backgrounds to a meet up in Sweden on August 24th. The goal was train together, hang out, have fun, and to share product ideas and feedback. This was both fun, inspirational, and energizing for everyone involved. We definitely plan on doing more meet-ups like this in the future! Check out the re-cap video
