We want to welcome you to a day filled with action and breathtaking crossfit at Solnahallen the first weekend in May in Stockholm Sweden! The Throwdown events is a big Crossfit contest with hundreds of athletes competing about a first place on the price podium!

To add to this Better Bodies will be there as sponsors and have a both where we show up our latest collection of clothes and will have athletes from the brand that compete in crossfit! Also, we have arranged with an own competition where you can win a PT-hour + one week of training at Crossfit Tegen (one famous box located in Solna/Sweden). This competition is an AMRAP (As many reps as possible). Everyone that take part of this quick and spicy AMRAP will be rewarded with a goodiebag with a value of 500 SEK!

May is here with lots of things in the pipe!

First of all, it’s been a true pleasure to get to know many of you after my 

! I appreciate when you reach out with feedback, ideas, or “just” to say hi and introduce yourself. I hope to meet you in person sometime during this year!

We have high priority on updating the site every day with focus on content. Make it a habit to check out the 

 section on the site every day to ensure you don’t miss out on anything - and feel free to give us your feedback on the content. We strive to offer inspiration and information way beyond “just” products and sale activities, and your play an important role of spreading the message about the Better Bodies content on the site.

A couple of weeks ago I sent out an email encouraging all of you to 

 about how you are living the fitness lifestyle. To help you get started with the writing, a template with questions was included in the email. Our plan is to publish several stories on 

 every month and we are really enjoying getting to know all of you. There is so much inspiration within the team that can be shared with the Better Bodies community. If you for any reason have not sent your story yet and have some questions about this, don’t hesitate to contact us on collab@betterbodies.com.

AMBASSADOR MEET-UP IN DALLAS AND STOCKHOLM

An invitation has been sent out to our Ambassador Meet-Up in Dallas at …destination Friday May 10th  at 7 pm.  We hope as many as possible of you can join us for a fun evening together with staff and other ambassadors! Check out the invitation 

For those of you who don’t have the possibility to attend the event in Dallas (or are able to join both), SAVE THE DATE for Saturday June 15th. This day we will arrange a SUMMER AMBASSADOR MEET UP in the Stockholm area. This will be a daytime event between 11 am - 3 pm. More information will be sent out in a few weeks!

Ambassador Update May 2019

This past weekend Better Bodies was represented at Sweden Throwdown Crossfit competition in Stockholm, Sweden. Better Bodies is the official apparel partner to Throwdown events 2019 and this was the second competition for the year. A great weekend with around 400 competitors in almost 100 teams.

In our Better Bodies booth we had several Crossfit profiles represented like Victor Ljungdal (Lådan Crossfit),  Måns Pettersson (Innovate Crossfit), John Plogell (Crossfit Puerto Banus), and also Better Bodies ambassador Helene Ahlson (NoxBox).

In collaboration with Tegen Crossfit we had an AMRAP competition with goodie bags to everyone participating, and parts of the Better Bodies assortment was available in the booth.

Choose different exercises to target the back. I like chins, lat pull-down etc. I recommend to train the back twice a week for the best results.

Choose different exercises to target all areas of the legs. For example squats, deadlifts and lunges. Add exercises for isolating the muscles as well. Such as hip thrusts for the booty, leg extensions for the quads and leg curls for the hamstrings. I recommend to train the legs/booty twice a week for the best results.

Try to target the biggest muscle groups twice a week.

I add abs as after the regular session 3 times/week and arms/chest/calves when I have time and it fits. For example I train arms and abs with back and chest with shoulders once a week.

My best tips to loose fat is to have a good diet-plan. But also to do high-intense cardio-sessions like intervals!

A balanced diet for me means clean food that provides enough energy and fuel to recover from workouts. Make sure you get all the nutrients you need. I have good carbs, protein and fat in my diet. My best choices are:

Protein: fish, seafood, moose (low fat meat), eggs and cottage cheese

Ambassador Meet-Up in Stockholm

Better Bodies is a long time supporter of the NPC Knox Classic in Knoxville, TN. This year the show is on August 2nd at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

The NPC Knox Classic is a long lasting show that has been going for over 35 years. It has grown each and every year and the response from the competitors has been amazing. The promoters of this show try to go above and beyond the competitors expectations from the time they arrive at the show as to what they will receive at check-ins in their goodie bags to how they are treated throughout the weekend during the show.  The promoters goal is to make the competitors experience the best they have ever had at a bodybuilding competition to make sure they go back home and spread the word about Knox Classic.

This show has an average of around 275 competitors and it continues to grow each year. The trophies are full-sized Taylor Made Trophy sculptures and they place top 5 in every class.  For the local competitors they also have a Mr. Bodybuilding Knox class and as of this year, a Ms. Bikini Knox class.  They also offer a Men's Wheelchair Bodybuilding class.  For more information about the show you can visit 

The venue is the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. The history of

this building is uncanny. It was built in 1961 and has a 6,500-capacity

coliseum and a 2,500-capacity auditorium. The band 

record (at that time) for the fastest sellout to a concert at the Coliseum for

their August 26, 1971, performance. Bob Dyland played there early in his

concert career.  Since then it's seen Duke Elington, Eric Clapton,

Johnny Cash, The Jackson 5, Betty Grable, Gladys Knight, Willie Nelson, Cat

Stevens, Issac Hayes, Bruce Springsteen, The Temptations, the Monkeys and a

bunch of other great entertainers. There have also been 8 former Presidents of

the United States that have spoken there as well. So as you can see there is a

NPC Knox Classic

I hope you have had a good May! I was visiting Iceland for this first time ever this month and it was truly a great experience. Although Reykjavik, Iceland is just a 3 hours flight away from Sweden and it has been on my “bucket list” for a long time, I have never traveled there… until now! What a spectacular place.

I can highly recommend you to plan a trip to Iceland if you have the possibility to, and I am sure that our ambassadors there would gladly help out with recommendations on gyms, things to do, and beautiful places to see. Horseback riding on an Icelandic horse is of course also a “must do”.

We are getting closer to the summer! The summer feeling is more visible in the Better Bodies assortment right now as well. I just hope that the weather here in Sweden will change soon to match the time of the year.

This June will offer more new releases than ever, and in wonderful summer colors! Hopefully this can be a part of encouraging many people around us, the people that you as a Better Bodies ambassador inspire on a daily, to choose an active lifestyle during the summer whatever the weather is! The indoor training may now be switched up with some more outdoor activities like running intervals, bicycling, outdoor gyms or maybe a tough bootcamp in the yard.

Ambassador Update June 2019

Gymleco held a summer party celebrating 25 years in the business, and of course we were there to celebrate their anniversary!

As you may know, we are proud to carry a wide selection of Gymleco free plate machines and gear at our gym 

Just like Better Bodies, Gymleco have a similar background

story with their way of building a strong community before social media was a

thing. The Founder Kari Jernvall believes in 50 strong years ahead and similar

to Better Bodies their core key words in business has always been to create gym

equipment for the ones that wants results with their training!

What/Who motivates or inspires you in life and your fitness?

Life inspiration would have to be my fiance.  She is a very driven and hard working person who has always supported all my career and life decisions.  Having that support motivates me to exceed my own limitations and strive for success.

Fitness inspiration comes from seeing someone overcome adversity and not use their weakness as a crutch but more as a stepping stone to get where they want to be.  It's the everyday woman or man that overcome the daily struggles that motivate me to better myself.
