"I was slowly dying inside because I wasn't doing what I was passionate about."

Its natural for people to follow what is expected from parents and teachers up to a certain point...

"I felt like I was supposed to go to college and get a career and do the "normal" thing. Fast forward, i left my corporate sales job, I have been in magazine, I have been on the Olympia stage. I have done more than I could have ever imagined."

Jen advocates proactively finding out what your passion is. This is something that only YOU can do. What piques your interests, what brings out the excitement and creativity in you? Jen found something in fitness and bodybuilding that brings a ton of value and excitement to her life and has made it ultimately work for her and what she wants out of life.

Here we follow her through peak week for the IFBB Battle of Texas where goes through everything needed for peak week. Where is Jen's mind during this week, what is her activity level, what does she travel with for competition and what does she love to eat post contest.

Quitting is easy. I don't want to be the one to take the easy route.

Renee Jewett grew up in Ocean View, Hawaii. She and her siblings had 3 channels one of which showed X-MEN and since then she envisioned resembling those powerful physiques.

Renee's whole story was anything but easy.

"The physical aspect was always the easy part. The mental part was tough. I always felt like I wasn't good enough."

Renee admits she had to overcome a lot of mental hurdles to accept that she was and IS "good enough" and in the process of learning all this, she turned pro, won a professional competition and graced the Olympia stage this past October.

"Id be doing myself a huge disservice to quit. If I felt uncomfortable, I knew that meant growth... so I kept going."

What does it take to be YOUR best? An unshakeable foundation starting with your "why" and a level of resiliency that is equal or greater to the work you put in.

Samantha Jerring, like many others out there, have had and continue to have trying and challenging times. Obstacles will never stop coming as long as you aspire to be better, grow and set higher and higher goals. Samantha explains how she shifted her energy from thinking of all the negatives in her life to channeling a positive outlook when she trains.

"I didn't want to give more energy to negativity and instead want to only have good vibes in whatever I do."

Samantha is preparing for her first pro figure competition this year since turning pro and qualifying for the Olympia in 2020. Stay tuned as she is not slowing down.

We, GASP and Better Bodies, are headquartered in the United States, which makes it natural for us to work with NPC when it comes to events, collaborations and athletes.

NPC, based in the USA, is linked to the IFBB Pro League with Olympia as the final goal for many athletes. NPC is now growing at a rapid pace in the rest of the world and Europe and the creation of NPC federations and therefore competitions in several countries is gradually increasing.

Our company has a long history of helping competing athletes around the world to achieve their dreams which for some is to compete at the highest level in the United States.

Among our athletes that we have in the team today, a predominant part is already competing in, or wants to compete in the NPC both on local and international levels.

As we have done for over 30 years, we see it as our duty to help develop the industry in a direction we believe is a good path for our brands and our athletes. Based on our history and home base, what the industry looks like today, and where we see that the sport is heading, it is logical for us to choose to work together with NPC.

We are currently planning, together with our former partner, our first NPC competitions in Sweden and hope that you want to be part of our journey!

Good food, good fun, and great camaraderie at the 2021 Olympia!

The team came together in Orland, Florida over the weekend to participate and watch the biggest bodybuilding show in the world - The Olympia. The weekend consisted of team workouts, watch parties, tasty food and all around good energy.

Congratulations to all of our athletes that stepped foot on the Olympia stage this year, and a very special shout out to Derek Lunsford who brought home the gold in the 212 class.

Registration is open for Better Bodies Challenge October 9th, 2021 at Stadionmässan in Malmö, Sweden!

Q: Can I register for more than one class?

A: Yes, you can register for as many classes as you want to compete in.

Q: What is the definition of True Novice and Novice?

A: Novice = An athlete that has never placed first in their class in a novice, masters or open contest.

True Novice: A True Novice is an athlete that has never entered a contest.

Q: Do I get a discount if I register for more than one class?

A: No, we do not offer a multi-class discount.

Q: I registered, but won't be able to compete, can I get a refund?

Q: How much does it cost to compete at the 2021 Better Bodies Challenge?

A: The registration fee per class is 110 EUR

Q: When will I be able to purchase tickets for the show?

Q: Will I be able to bring my coach backstage?

A: We are following local guidance when it comes to number of people allowed at the venue. If there's capacity we will sell coach passes through the regular ticket sales OR at the registration October 8th.

Q: Will my coach be able to see the show for free?

A: Your coach will have to purchase a ticket (ticket sales opening August) to be able to see the show. If the capacity allows it we will dedicate a section in the audience for coaches who have coach passes.

Note that the hotel will hold a deposit at check-in to secure potential costs for extra cleaning.

We recommend that you bring your own bed-linen and towels.

From Malmö Airport there is a shuttlebus every 20 minutes to Malmö Central Station for approximately 10 EUR.

From Kastrup airport there are trains and shuttle buses to Malmö every 20 minutes for approximately 11 EUR.

Taxi from Malmö Central Station to the Hotel and venue is approximately 20 EUR.

Sometimes to find your limit, you have to go over it.

We set out to Eagles Canyon Raceway because driving fast on the racetrack has a lot to do with living intensely and on the edge.

"Driving at the limit of traction can be scary. It has to do a lot with controlling your emotions. You have to manage the highs and lows."

We want to live more intensely with the time we have on the planet. This is the common denominator with what we live by and why we visit Eagles Canyon so often. Live it up, press on the gas with NO COMPROMISES.

A huge portion of the GASP and Better Bodies team is already here in Texas and made it out to the raceway and then followed up with training at destination.

Brett Wilkin and Martin go through the paces in line with peak week to be able to have a successful pro debut. They train in tandem with other athletes like Keone Pearson, Brady King, Darwin Uribe, Divine Master, Leland DeVaughn, Ivana, Demyya and Ashton Penney.
